For various lengths of drawer size try this link.

Just bought a 10 pack of 24 inch slides to fit a 24 1/2 inch deep cabinet I built.

As for determining drawer size alot depends on type of build. If you have a 24 inch deep hole from front to back you first deduct whatever thickness of your drawer front. That means next size down which is 22 inch slides. Something to consider if you have any depth is once pulled all the way out will you be able to stand in front and actually look into the drawer. (Toolbox makers think mechanics shops have gotten bigger and now offer 30+ inch deep drawers.)

Just because you have a 26 inch deep hole does not mean the drawer has to be that deep and consume all the room. Type of slide is also important. A metal ball bearing full extension with 1 inch over travel allows you complete access to the entire drawer, normally anyway. But if you use European style slides then they only come out 3/4 of the way and you have to work to get to the back. Depends on what you are storing.
For cabinets I build I generally add a 1/2 to the build giving myself some dead space behind the drawer. No real reason other than I might add some wiring one day and need that space. (Yes it has happened.)

-- Live to tell the stories, they sound better that way.

Awesome thanks for the response. This helps immensely with the planning portion of this build.

I gotta start doing some research on finding them affordably online. Slides and Hinges have gotten very expensive – I didn’t realize how much of an expense they represent on a cabinet build.

Thanks again
