I am also in Houston. If I had that issue, I would begin by calling a Ridgid Service Center for advice. If you google Ridgid Service Center, you can search by distance form your zip code. Try this link, I just used it with zip code 77079.

Also, it is might be worth a call or visit to Circle Saw Shop, where they have been servicing woodworking equipment for decades. Plus I just like wandering in there every once in a while and they are always quite nice. I have bought some of my larger equipment from them.

Good luck.

Well I brought the saw to Empire today as they are a service center next to a customer of mine. Got some bad news, the armature is shot and they don’t make that part anymore. Also, I didn’t register the saw correctly so I’m not part of the lifetime warranty club…... So after 7 years and A TON of projects, I’m retiring my Rigid 4510 table saw. :(

However, the wife gave me the greenlight for a new one. I was kidding around when I said “Well I had my eye on one but is about $2000…...” and she said she was cool with it! Now I have to decide which one I really want :)

Yep, going to put it on Craigslist as a “NO MOTOR” sale and see if there are any takers. I don’t want to buy the new motor as the saw is only ~$400 new.

Heck yes it did! Today I picked up my Laguna fusion 2 saw and sold my old rigid for $100 :) Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!
