I have a 16/32 jet drum sander, It is the best tool in my shop. Worth every penny. No more planing or sanding out flat boards or glue ups. Just stand there and run them thru till flat. Amazing. Oh yea NO MORE SNIP

I’m thinking about it, just not enough thinking yet.

I have one similar, different badge but does the same work. And does it well!
Its an item I would not be without, it works well and saves heaps of time, definately well worth the loot.
Be aware though you will possibly spend the purchase price over again on consumables.

Get rid of those filthy green-backs! ... sanders are more enjoyable!!

Drum Sander is one of the few things I want and don’t have. Like everyone else hard to part with that much money when you are retired.

Thanks for sharing, Roger.

Roger, good to hear from you. I have a dual drum sander that lets me sand whole boxes. But it costs even more money.

Sorry it won’t fit rotated.

Looks like a good suggestion Roger. I have a Jet 16/32 and love it. Fine dimensioning stock with great finish sanding makes life a lot easier. When resawing it is easier to run the cut sides of stock through the sander instead of having to re-joint or plane them and the resulting dust takes much less place in the vacuum container too. The idea of a lever instead of a wheel sounds good and if it works well then that would be a worthwhile feature. Also the digital drum height sounds real good to me for repeatability and less time wasted doing trial and error adjustments.
