Mine is now 1 inch + a scant more after renewing the surfaces a couple of time. My wife is brutal, grabs a meat cleave now and then and goes to town. No problems with it so far. Its 11 wide and 19 long

I have made end-grain trivets down to 0.325” and cutting boards down to 0.850”. No failures.

The first group that I ran out were all just over an inch. Still holding up pretty good too.
