I would call the people that made it @ (855) 699-6635
because the heads they show on their website look to be all in alignment – not skewed.

It’s normal. It is for cutting a rabbet if you use the ledge.

AZ Woody, that is the exact answer that I got from the folks at Byrdtools. I’m going to go with that, install the cutterhead in my jointer, then run a few test pieces.
