It is good to see the kids get some credit for their work.
I do wish the instructor would have them post all the pictures on one or two entries. When there 10 individual entries of the same type it becomes redundant to comment on each. Also It would be nice to be able to make comparison comments; which I have done a couple of times. Other times I have commented only on the last posting but reflected on all the others in that one comment.

The teacher responded once and said he asks them to make an LJ account. I suppose it’s so they know we are here and may get inspired to do more woodworking.

I really wish more programs existed like that in public schools. Going into the trades is still being viewed as failure in far too many high schools. Instead they push getting an MBA and graduating with a mountain of debt and zero life skills other than fast texting fingers.

Our newly elected president wants to have schools start offering trades education like it was 50 years ago. A report out said there were more job openings than there were people to fill them. It is time trade schools and job work apprentices were back. Not everyone needs a college education; there still has to be people to actually produce something of value.
