There are a whole lot of variables that come into play. First question is are we talking current production or not? If not? Second question is are we talking jobsite (where portability is an issue, and 120v power is a limit), large commercial (5 & 6 figure machines), small commercial, serious hobbyist, or DIY or casual user? Portable or not?

There are a few “gold standards” that can reasonably be identified:

Lamello for biscuit joiners.
SawStop for tablesaw safety.
