I would go with the Grizzly if it were my choice. I looked at that Delta at Lowes, and it seems as though it was geared more for consumer use instead of professional. Of course, that could just be my perception of the design aesthetic. Also, my preference for a tool as important as the table saw, is to go with new.

I have a General international contractor’s saw and I love it. I would say that it is comparable in nature to a Grizzly. I’ve only been in contact with Grizzly tools in their showroom though.

As far as going with cheaper saw now and upgrading later, I would opt for the better saw now. It may seem like splurging to go more expensive now, but it will make the home building process more enjoyable.
