We have one of the Bosch and a few of the PC sanders in my shop. The Bosch is a good sander but didn’t hold up as well as the PCs have. The little white rings that acts as a brake on the pad wears too quickly IMO and, while dust collection is marginally better to start, the o-ring that holds the filter box in place gets loose after a few months.

We’re blessed to stay busy so tools, especially sanders, see a lot of use. In a hobby shop, I’m sure they would both be great tools but in our shop being used 5-6 days a week to make a living, the PC fits my needs better. I’ve only tried one of the Bosch sanders so I may have just got one that slipped thru quality control as I’ve heard a lot of great reviews of Bosch tools.
