I gave the piece a quick wipe with denatured Alcohol, waited a few minutes, then gave it a quick 30 sec circular rub with Boiled Linseed and it helped dramatically. It also revealed my flaws, which is very important as I continue to improve refine this technique . My “go to” finish is 2 coats of clear shellac, then 4-6 coats of juice (1/3 each clear shellac,Denatured Alco and BLO) .
