Hi Tiffany,
My advice to you is to practice, practice, practice!
It is amazing the skills you will develop as you try things out.
Also, read everything you can find…on beds and on the tools you will use. I have also found some of the DVDs on woodworking technique helpful.
Classes are good…but actually doing it – trial and error – is the only real way to learn.
I found that building a mock-up of parts and putting it together helped me to learn how to do it.
Good luck – I hope to see some of your handiwork soon.
