Here is NY, I get beech for $2 a bft for 4/4 and 5/4 rough cut, although the person I purchase it from is very good with his prices. He simply wants to see people enjoy woodworking. In fact, I’d purchase lumber from him even if I could get it cheaper elsewhere because I like his attitude.
