Ok. After about an hour of adjusting, I think I have it about as good as I can get it. The bottom pulley was loose so I pushed it back a little more onto the shaft and tightened both set screws. I also got the pulleys co planar using the flat edge of a combination square. I had to sort of “tilt the motor up on the side opposite of the pulleys because I think the pull of the belt was lifting that side up more and making the pulleys not coplanar. After doing this, there is no more squeak/vibration while running. (i’m not sure what the hissing sound in the video is but I didn’t notice any noise like that coming from the machine). There is only a little noise at startup and shutdown which I believe comes from the belt. Check out the new video and let me know what you think… Is this thing ready for use?
