The ones with the motor on top the head moves. With the motor on bottom the bed moves so while the 4-posts look to be of the same dimensions they are different planers. Parts compatibility with other no-name Taiwan 15” planers is said to be good with these generic planers. A lot of tool dealers branded them but they’re pretty similar if not the same in some cases.
