I like that ladder design. After I wrap up my shed I m going to i install a mezzanine that will have a floor 7 2” above the concrete and I have no desire to drag out a step ladder every time I need to get up there. .......

That is similar to my motivation. Long story but selling my house and going to build a new. Wife suggested we built a shed/shop so I could move into for now. Once the house is built I will move my shop to the basement and this will revert to barn/storage/welding shop/etc…..

It is temporary and it is little on the small side for what I do. I put an office in the back and floored overhead. Great storage space and I plan on putting a lot of small tools and stuff that is not used that often up there to keep down the clutter.

I realized without a good set of permanent steps with easy access I would end up pilling stuff up rather than drag it up a ladder. Once this is in plan is a simple rope lift to raise stuff up so I don’t have to carry it up the stairs. The easier it it so get up and down the more I will tend to use it.

So my motivation is much like yours.
