Brad…..in an earlier post he mentioned that he used powdered resin (like Dap), which is hard to find around here. Wonder if Minwax wood filler or regular tile grout would work?

Ok, went back and looked at some of his blogs. The one for a lazy susan describes the process he uses in pretty good detail. The pieces are hot glued on the backer, and once complete, he uses a mix of sawdust and glue to spread on and fill in any gaps present. After that, it’s all sanded smooth and a finish is applied. He was asked what glue he used in the comments, and he said it was simply ‘powered resin’ from National Casein – so it’s a Casein based glue which comes in power form and mixed with water.
