+1 The entire symbol is log brand.

Need a much clearer picture to get any help.

Never seen a national data base of log brands. Tend to be state registered in USA.

Can look at this one from Oregon as reference. They have currently over 3,500 registered log brand owners with approximately 10,000 log brands.

Need to contact Alaska DNR about lumber/log brand registration, if the logs were found in Alaska.
From Dept of Forestry Regulations:

Sec. 45.50.270. Publication of current list of brands. The department shall publish a list of brands as of December 31 of each even numbered year. The list must show the design of each brand, the name and address of the owner, the date of
Alaska Forest Management Statutes and Regulations, 2010 STATUTES 41
registration, and any transfer of a brand during the previous two years. Copies of the list shall be available to the public upon request. (§ 6 ch 51 SLA 1953; am § 8 ch 168 SLA 1970; am § 6 ch 68 SLA 1975)

Best Luck.
