Thanks for the reply. I’ve got these boards stacked in a pile in a shed, and to get to the board, and plane the end, would require some un-stacking. Probably won’t do that right now but, sometime in the near future. I’ve got several more pictures of wood types to send, with hopefully, enough visibility to verify the wood type.
