The 5 1/4s (junior jack)were popular in schools. High school shop classes etc for smaller hands. Usually not worth much as they more of a novelty size. I bought one for parts to put a #3 back in working order. If you have one already, it will do, but IMO its better to have a 5 and a 3 instead of that wonky in between size.
