I purchased it about one month ago and used it once. It is solid and well built and I purchased it to make a bench out of a large log I did not get to milling in time. It is a eucalyptus tree. It is 20 ft long. In this method, you don’t need to go all the way through the log so I plan on doing a vertical and horizontal cut. I haven’t got to that yet but did mill with it to trim down a log I had milling with my 20-inch bandsaw. It worked well. The screws clamp securely to the bar and are good steel. In the video, he has a pretty big saw able to make the cuts. If you are swinging into the cut rather than doing it 90 to the tree-like other mills. There is a guy who cuts without any mill at all and has good advice on using the tip of the bar to do most of the cutting rather they bogging down the saw. You run multiple passes going deeper and deeper till you go all the way through. It is a cheap option but not the safest of the milling options but if you can rotate the log to keep out of the way of the blade it will do the job.

It’s sold at Rockler so that is a reputable store.
