Wow, that will be a HUGE table!

It’s been a while, but I think it was 1/2” particle board. In certain applications, I like particle board because it’s very stable.

A full sheet of 3/4” particle board weighs over 90 pounds. Add wood to the top and the edge banding, and the table top could easily be more than two people can move safely; probably over 150 pounds.

Forgive me if you’ve already thought of this, but design of the supporting structure will be crucial to adequate support to prevent sagging over time. The edge banding has a part in that as well. The sagging issue will have to be dealt with for a plywood panel as well.
