1. Without pictures, our guess is not even as good as yours.

2. This looks sort of greenish in the pictures which usually means it is pressure treated pine. Is this for outdoor use? The picture looks to me like a plywood frame with a face frame attached but it hard to tell from the picture. It looks like a very odd way to construct it whatever it is.
