Sure. You can paint pretty much anything black as long as the prep is done right depending on surface. I just suggest getting a paint that is black from the factory. Are you brushing or spraying? I have had good luck with oil based Benjamin Moore Impervo. Black paint seems to take heavy abuse and this one seems to hold up well.
