A one size fits all has never really worked for me. I will use various methods to store supplies, including building my own when size is unusual or has limitations. My trick for getting sufficient supplies to keep me from making special trip for say 1 1/2 inch # 8 brass screws? I buy a box of screws every time I do go to get supplies. Over time that $6 investment stocked me up. Now I only need to restock when project is done. I also have a neighbor who drops off bags of screws he comes across. Very helpful.
