just an observation, I have some saws I know are crosscut but looked rip, I clould not see any fleam, that is the angle filed on the blade making it crosscut. I noticed that it is easier to see if you look down on the teeth. I also noticed that your saw has a skew back, that is the curve on the back of the saw. Could your saw be a small panel saw reject they put a cheap handle on and sold as a toy. something to think about
