are you sure it is a rip cut, most saws are cross cut. Check utube for saw filing instruction. lee valley has some good saw files. You will also need to make a saw filing vise to hold the saw while filing check utube for saw vises

No I’m not sure it’s rip cut. I don’t know a lot about hand saws. When I googled rip vs cross cut, the teeth looked more like the rip cut pics I saw. I think it was dull and rusted enough to where it’s hard to tell if the teeth were cut flat like this rip cut pic or beveled and staggered every other side like the cross cut pic, but they do appear to have a more shark fin look like the rip cut.
