I d only add that if you get some super glue in the small squeeze tube, drill a hole slightly larger than the diameter of the tube tip, centered on the crack. This way you can post the tip into the hole and squeeze until the glue starts to ooze out. You should get deeper and faster penetration this way (then clamp away).

I use the small disposable pipette droppers. I just open the lid of the glue, suck up a little and then dispense. They are also nice as you can stretch the tip and then snip it off to a very small diameter. I buy mine in either 1 or 2 oz. bottles though.
