In my case the customer is asking for a fix. We live a bit far apart and it is a cheaper PSI kit (just 7 or bucks) so I intend to make another if his fix fails. Not a problem but I am blown away by the danger of rubber and so thankful to learn about that. I don’t blame the customer for putting a grip on at all, it doesn’t seem intuitive that it would be risky. We will see if it is something like rubber material stuck on top or if the finish itself is compromised. The white marks make me expect the finish is harmed.
