I’m glad you picked LJ. You’ll learn a great deal here.

I peruse reddit. I’ve never found any inspiration, or knowledge I didn’t already have. It seems to serve its community, so that’s a good thing.

Same thing, actually even worse, on Facebook. Those groups are difficult to deal with because someone will ask a question about how to do something—the same thing we get on LJ everyday—only over there you’ll likely be among 50 or more commenters who are mostly giving really pathetic advice. I generally don’t even bother to respond.
