Dee 1, first thanks for sharing so many really nice wood small scale equipment pieces.

I can only show how I send a picture to this site. I let them host it, this takes away a need to go through a third party which sometimes is confusing.

I also keep the pics on my computer as .jpeg files.

First I need to know where the picture is located on my computer, they can be summoned from anywhere on your computer, but for ease I usually use my desktop.

First you need to decide which forum to use. For a new project of your own making, I would use skill share. Under the “forums” tab, click that, then click “show all forums”. Then the top one will be “Woodworking Skill Share” pick that one.

Near the top of that section, go to “start new topic” From here you pretty much can fill in everything you will want to add to your post.

Add a title, then you can put in some text to explain what you have.

There are 4 buttons on that pane in a brownish color. Left to Right they read as I have them listed top to bottom..

B, for BOLD

I leaning to the right for Italics

The a linked chain. this is for outside, or even links within the site. To use that you type something as in SOMETHING

What I did was typed something, hilighted it, like I was going to copy and paste it, and then put in the URL from the Google of the word something. It’s now that link you see in blue. Clicking it, will take you from here, to Google to the page showing SOMETHING.

You can simply describe a link, and just copy and paste it below your description. I like that option because you can stay here, and by opening a new window paste that link in, and go there, without leaving here. Some places on the internet, don’t seem to like you using the back button, so having another page open, when you are done, all you need to do is close that page, going back to the page you were on here, everything is just like when you left.

Lastly is the IMG button, and this is for taking an image on your computer, and dropping it into your text here.

Start by clicking on “IMG”

A drop down box will open

Click Browse, then using the choices within your computer, go to where you keep the pic, or to your desktop if you have moved it there.

Once you find the right picture, click it in the choices. It will take it, and show it now, next to browse.

Makes a landing spot for your picture in your text, by clicking your mouse where you want the pic to drop in.

Then just click “insert this image”

Looking forward to your new post.
