I have made my router table and have bothe the benchtop a regular Kreg router table. I have the Kreg lift in one and the triton router in the other Kreg table. I sold the home made one to a friend. I had the regular Kreg table but got tired of taking it to presentations the Kreg benchtop made my task easier. I used to make two trips to take everything because not all the stuff fit in trip. Now with the Kreg benchtop one trip is all I need. The Kreg lift is awesome I have the Bosch 1617 router in it and the triton router in the other. The triton has it s own built in lift and Kreg makes a plate drilled for it. The price of the triton is less than a good lift by itself and works well. I know That three router tables was overkill but when making my kitchen cabinets it was worth it.

Woodmaster,

How are you liking the Bosch 1617? I am thinking of getting the same for my JessEm table lift.

The Bosch router works great. Get a bent wrench to make changing bits easier so you don’t have to crank the router all the way up.
