If you want something a little cheaper and more DIY, check out Shipwrights forum topic and blog about using Donaldson diesel air filters. If I recall correctly, they have similar specs as the Wynn filters but are considerably cheaper.

To my knowledge none of these pleated filters are washable and have to replaced when they get so clogged that they restrict suction.

that is a huge filter for my blower :-) I guess it will last longer
I am not sure that I understand how that filter was built.
He seems to have inserted the Donaldson filter in some concrete post form like this

Great idea but what is the benefit? I thought the idea is to let the air get out easier, if you enclose your filter in that form it is going to be more difficult to exhaust the air
On another note…can you use these forms intead of the garbage bins for the dust separators ?
