For both files and rasps, I am increasingly going with Corradi

They come out of Italy and the quality far surpasses anything commonly available in the US. Their Gold series rasps rival the best hand stitched rasps at a much lower cost. The metal files are also top quality and available in a wide array of shapes and sizes to fit your needs. I have quite a few of their rasps, several metal files and a bunch of rifflers. All are excellent quality.

The only real downside to Corradi is that they do not have distribution, so you have to order direct from the company and they ship from Italy and that involves shipping costs. If you order one or two, the freight can be as much as the rasps, but if you order a half dozen or more and spread that cost out, then the net cost is really reasonable. They also get things out fast. Don’t know how they get through customs so fast, but I had tools in hand three days after ordering.

All that reminds me, I need to do another order.
