Whatever it is, when it was standing as a tree it had needles on it. Virtually all of them could be described as resinous, and of course that arched cathedral grain pattern wouldn’t be new to any of them.

So I’m just going to call it Conifer Confusion, and from this point, well is there really a point?

Poor at firewood, and so so as Lumber, but still it has a warm spot in our hearts. Plus you always get high marks for reclaimed. If it’s old growth, that part about so so may get it moved up several notches.
