I have the Laguna 14lTwelve and I love it. If I purchased a new saw I would upgrade to get a Laguna with a blade brake. I added a cheap LED light to mine to assist in visibility. I would make a mobile base before spending the money on theirs. It is quiet, cuts straight and has plenty of power for most resawing. It’s easy to change the blade. I was resawing some 8/4 Purpleheart a few weeks ago and I was feeding it too aggressively and got the 3/4” carbide blade jammed in the wood. I managed to unwedge the $150 blade without damaging it. I set it up a couple of years ago and every 6 months or so I check everything to make sure it all dialed in, I haven’t had to change anything yet. One word of caution, the throat plate will need to be filed a little wider if you plan on tilting the table to a 45° angle. There isn’t enough clearance and the teeth on many blades will likely catch the edge of it. I took off about 1/32” and it works perfect now. Invest in good blades to compliment whatever you decide on.
