Personally, I would get the USA model. I have no first hand knowledge that it’s better than the new ones, but i do know that in general the PC line of tools has been delegated to a lower tier to allow the Dewalt line to be the premium brand of whatever that companies name is that now owns them. So my guess is they may have done some “cost engineering” on that later models that might not be a good thing. That said, I don’t worry about warranties too much. A lot of folks do, and if it’s that important to you go with your gut. I see 215 s a good price for what you described, and you can sell the base to recoup some of the cost. The 7518 was for years considered the de-facto standard for RT use….should be a great choice.
