I appreciate all the helpful responses to this. I was able to get the article.

For some additional context, I wasn’t looking for the plans (which I assumed would be available for purchase), I was looking for some of the content in the article. I had a single stretcher plan in mind I was going to work off of, but it was designed for a 36” wide table and I am planning a 40” wide table. I read elsewhere that suggested a single post/stretcher design is insufficient for tables wider than 36”. As far as I could tell, the original source for that claim was this article. I was hoping to get a bit more information about this as I decide if I can adequately use the intended plan or if I need to rework it to a double stretcher.

The article had some great advice and design considerations which will surely be helpful to me, though it did not expound on width guidelines beyond what was stated elsewhere, namely single stretcher designs should max out at 36” width.

-- The plan is wrong; my finished piece is right.
