+1 look for other brands that look the same.

Masterforce brand power tools used to made by Makita and sold at Menards long ago. Not sure if your planer is same brand/company, but would look at Makita models for similar looking planers? Both Hitachi (metaba now) and Rikon currently sell a 330mm (13”) planer.
The only image I could find of MasterForce 240-0045 planer is this one from an auction site:

The thickness gauge sort of looks like the old Makita units, and new Metaba planers?

Name plate shows made in China, so there could be many planers that look same sold under different names.

BTW – The name plate lists a customer service number for MasterForce.
Looks like 1-800-266-9079, but then my eyesight stinks.
Hmm, Google says that is same customer service number as Sears Craftsmen branded tools.
Go figure?
