Is this a new gun that has not been used before. If so, it needs to be taken apart and thoroughly cleaned. These guns are packaged and shipped with all kinds of crud in them. There are videos available on the subject if you need it.

Good point. And if it has been used before what did you spray out of it? All of this can add up to the contamination earlier posts mentioned.

Also, the detail gun has a 0.8 mm tip. That’s probably too small for the viscosity of the finish you are spraying.
