Kris – if you can save the photos to your desktop or to a local file outside
of Photobucket, it will make it easier to post using the “img” button.
interestingly, I was at my local flea market this past Saturday and this guy
had several vintage power tools and he had at least half a dozen old Skil
1/3 sheet sanders (that did not work) for $10 each.
all aluminum body, really nice and shiny. (no plastic parts were visible).
with my short term memory, I cleanly forgot about your post here to look
at the model numbers.
what I did notice is that with the all metal body, they had the old two-wire
cords that were not grounded.
if you have the all metal body sander, for safety’s sake, you need to have a
ground wire on your sander when you get ready to put it into operation.
(just a word of caution there).
my internet searches for the 57B did not turn up even a photo of one.
