How about one in the shape of a Kiwi ! I am not sure how you would do the legs to make them child safe though.

Also you will need to consider the material you are going to use is kid safe as well no Oleander or the likes.
Rock Maple for one is OK

I have never worked with oleander, even though i have a box full in the garage that someone with good intentions gave me. I was under the impression it’s too toxic for mostly anything. I’ll likely use NZ rimu, as these are often sold in shops here.
