Stihl makes jigs for sharpening chains on the bar. It’s the only way the jig will work. It’s ok to sharpen on the bar.

Brad and others, that “DO NOT TURN BACKWARDS” in big red letters :) might actually mean, Do not install the chain backwards. It looks like it could actually happen if the chain is stretched.

I don’t know for sure, but I seriously doubt an electric chain saw would have a plastic sprocket….... ......... Jerry (in Tucson)...... ......... Jerry (in Tucson)
