I agree with the comments about using extensions, or more appropriately NOT using them. Just a couple of comments about his “new” extension. First, it isn’t self-extracting which could lead to some “issues” removing bits sometimes. Second, It seems to use an ER style collet used in milling machines which could open up the use of end mills in your router should you get the hair up your . . . uh . . . if you should want to.
