I’ve had good luck with Brazilian Hardwoods: Tigerwood, Ipe, Cambara, Cumaru. Still pricey but nowhere near the cost of teak. I’ve used it for decks and outdoor furniture. Actually holds up a lot better than cedar which I used to use.
