A lot of guys sharpen on a 3450 grinder. The trick is not to overheat your tools. I could never seem to do it, especially on thin-edged tools. So, rather than ruin expensive chisels, I bit the bullet and went with a slow speed grinder and CBN wheels. So much easier for me. I use my high speed grinder for carbon steel (lawn mower blades and such).
