My first router table was the RA1171. Served faithfully for years. Can store it under a bench when not in use or take it outside to make dust bunnies away from the shop.
However, after a time, I found it’s limitations. Short bed, slight warp in the table top (zinc maybe?), plastic insert rings. But that was after years of service. For a simple bench top router table, it did it’s job.
I eventually upgraded to a cast iron table extension as my router home. Saves space, easy hookup to share table saw dust collection, can now use a router lift, and well… what can I say… cast iron :)
