Ok,

I make sure to check the hand wheel lock nut to make sure that it is not tightening up. I put the saw on the back and gave underneath a good blowout as well as oiling the bevel adjustment and that seems to have made a difference.

The only issue that I have now, which I will correct, is that when I removed and reinstalled the bevel assembly, I should have zeroed the gauge and made sure the blade was at 90 before screwing it in. So now, I can get a little over 90 degrees and not quite to 45! Will make the adjustment and I should be good.

Thanks all!!
