I started with the R4331 and it worked great for a couple of years. When I bought my DW735 I couldn’t get it in me to get rid of the R4331. I still use it on and off.
As far as the LSA, you really do have to take the initiative and follow through on the registration. Don’t expect Ridgid to bail you out later when you need it. It really is easy and there’s an online record of every tool you’ve bought from them. I’ve only needed it to replace batteries a few times but at the cost of those, very worth it.
