I bought an entire cordless tool kit from Ridgid mainly due to the replacement policy for the batteries. When it came time to use it, they said I failed to correctly fill out and file the registration card and they have no record of the purchase. Having paid with a credit card (somewhere around $600), I was able to provide the date, cost, and every other possible piece of information they could want. Still no go. They would not honor their replacement guarantee in my case. Although it’s entirely possible I failed to mail the card in, in my view the supporting documentation as well as the purchase proof along with the serial numbers should be enough. The batteries really did not last as they should have. Needless to say, I will be looking at other brands in the future due to a bad experience.

These days, as far as cordless goes Milwaukee is the one to have. The Fuel in particular is killing it. I’m a big fan of Bosch as well. Let us know what you go with.
