Wood thrower if your getting a gap at the training end of your board your outfeed is low. The same amount of the snipe a few thousands?
I don’t know what Robs numbers mean. I do know that I have both a lee valley and suburban tool inspection tools mentioned. And they are indeed quite different. The aluminum will sag over a hump or dip into a hollow. Giving you a false reading. Unlike a steel precision straight edge.
So put that in your pipe and smoke it Rob. :)

I think you got the noodle straight edge, my 50 seem pretty rigid.
